Refund and Returns Policy
At Song Mix Master, we provide digital products and professional audio services, including mixing presets, mastering presets, online mixing, online mastering, and related music production resources. Because most of our products and services involve instant digital delivery or custom audio work, our refund policy follows clear rules to protect both you and our studio.
Please read this policy before purchasing a product or booking a service.
Digital Products
Our downloadable products, including presets, templates, sample packs, audio tools, and other digital files, are delivered electronically after purchase.
Because digital products cannot be returned once downloaded or accessed, all sales are generally final. We do not offer refunds for digital products after the download link has been delivered, except in the cases listed below.
We may issue a refund or replacement if:
The file is corrupted and cannot be opened.
The wrong product was delivered.
The download link does not work and we cannot fix the issue.
The product description contained a clear technical error that materially affected your purchase decision.
You purchased the same product twice by mistake.
Before requesting a refund, please contact us so we can help you solve the issue. In many cases, we can resend the download link, provide installation guidance, or replace the affected file.
Mixing and Mastering Services
Our mixing and mastering services involve custom work based on the audio files, references, instructions, and creative direction you provide.
Because this work requires studio time and professional processing, service payments are generally non-refundable once work has started.
A refund may be considered only if:
- Work has not yet started on your project.
- We cannot complete the service due to a technical or delivery issue on our side.
- You paid by mistake and contact us before we begin the work.
A refund will not usually be issued if:
- You change your mind after the work has started.
- You do not like the artistic direction after the service has been delivered, but the work follows the information you provided.
- Your uploaded mix has technical problems that limit the final result, such as clipping, distortion, heavy noise, damaged audio, poor recording quality, or missing files.
- You expected a result that was not discussed before ordering.
- You fail to provide the required files or instructions.
We want you to be happy with the final result, so our services may include revisions according to the details shown on the service page at the time of purchase. Revisions are meant to refine the delivered work, not to replace the original project with a completely different mix, arrangement, recording, or creative direction.
Revision Policy
If your order includes revisions, you can request reasonable changes based on the original project brief.
Examples of valid revision requests include:
- Adjusting vocal level.
- Adjusting bass, drums, or instrumental balance.
- Fine-tuning brightness, loudness, warmth, or punch.
- Making small creative adjustments based on your reference track.
Revisions do not include:
- Mixing or mastering a different song.
- Replacing the entire arrangement.
- Adding new stems after the work has already started, unless agreed in advance.
- Fixing recording problems that were present in the original files.
- Changing the service type after delivery.
File Preparation Responsibility
You are responsible for sending correct and complete files before the work begins.
For best results, please make sure your files are properly exported, clearly labeled, and free from unwanted clipping or distortion. If the files you send contain technical problems, we may ask you to send a corrected version before continuing the project.
If you approve us to continue with problematic files, the final result may reflect those limitations.
